I don't like the blog experience because I don't like to talk of all the topics. I preferer to talk about free topics and dwell. I like write but about things that I want.
Music and Sports

I don’t enjoy sports, because I’m not good, in fact, I found sports very boring. But I do sport one time for week because is healthy. Trekking is the activity that maybe I enjoy a little.
I like all the music. But in this moment I listening Agnes Obel, I don’t know the style but is very nice the sound.
I like the music for the dance, for the love, for the peace. I feel recharged when I listen something that I like.
I hate Justin Bieber, I don’t know why, I just hate the song “sorry”, is so stupid. But I like the pop to, Taylor Swift o Katy Perry for example. And I like rock, and 80’s music, and the 90’s music, I love all the music, really.
Other song that I like, and a listen every day in the last month was “head over heels” of Tears for Tears. I love the rhythm, I feel so motivate when I listen that song.
When I was younger I liked metal music. Today I don’t listen very much that style of music, but I enjoy the songs that remember me when I was a teenager. That was a nice time.

This semester topic!!!

This semester I enjoy study the primate evolution, it is very interesting and I feel that it is my favorite topic of my career. I can (in future) infer about the ancestral conducts and anatomy of the early humans. The useful of the line of study lies in the reflection that we can make about the behavior of the actual population.

I think this topic maybe can contribute importantly to anthropology. Because one of the central topics of the anthropology is explain the behavior of our society, although in a small scale, but anyway is an important part of the answers of this discipline.

The observation of the apes and monkeys in their natural habitat makes me very happy and excite me very much, and many of the papers that I read this semester described this type of work. In the future I expect make this kind of labor.

My favorite monkeys are the atelidae, because when I see them I think that their voices were very similar to ours. The color of their skin is black and the behavior is very relax all the time.
An expert on my field

René BobeRene Bobe is an expert on my field, biological anthropology. He has a doctor’s degree in biological anthropology, of the University of Washington.

His research seeks to understand the evolutionary processes in hominids and other mammals in relation to climate and environmental changes in Africa over the last 7 million years. For this, he conducted fieldwork in Ethiopia, Kenya and Mozambique, where he, and others investigators, collected and analyzed fossils from mammals that provide environmental data on geologic time scales. They have recently begun to develop paleontological work in Chilean Patagonia in search of the first primates who came to South America.

The research topics of Rene Bobe are ecology of hominids in Africa, origins of technology in Africa, evolution of African mammals, evolution of African ecosystems during the Cenozoic and origin and evolution of primates platirrinos in South America.

Rene Bobe is a teacher in FACSO. He teaches the course of primate evolution, physical anthropology, and human paleontology. He is very neat and he provides to his students with actualized and interesting papers.

My worst nightmares when I was a child… well I think that maybe was the loneliness. My fear was like me alone in the street. Maybe it was related with my other fear at that time which was that my mom stopped loving me. Even I literaly dreamed with the mix of these fears haha. When I was five years old (I think) I dreamed that I was in a bus with my mom and (my memory is not so precise) one of us stayed in the bus, and the other one got off the bus, so... I was lonely!!! Without my mom!!! then I started to cry so hard that I woke up with tears, and I looked for my mom crying, and she hugged me and said that " I would never do something like that, we will always get off the bus together".

And my fear when I was a teenager was focused in the PSU, the grades, and basically the academic. And I almost forget something even worst… I have other fear… the acne hahaha, the worst time of my life, no doubt.

My friend Nico took this picture from a big rock. This scenario shows a vew from one side of the small cove of “Pellines”. You can’t see me clearly, because I’m too small from that perspective, but I am in the left, the left lateral side. My work group and me, have this course called “Taller de Etnografía” or something like that. We suppose to choose a topic and a locality in which we must do a field work and an etnography. We are six people: Gabi, Nico, Kiltro, Osvaldo, another Nico and me. Kiltro knew this small cove that seemed the perfect place for an etnography work. And we took a bus in the south direction. This is 2014…

We stayed in a small hause, with three rooms, and with all the necessary, the stuff for the cooking time, etc.

One week we work with fisher men and women. We hear storys and fears about the fishing law, the great industria and the injustice.

I learn a lot that week, about society, friendship, other ways of job and hierarchy, the resignation, the fight, sadness and rage.

My Friends

I have friends, they are from very diferents zones, and because of that, today I will talk in the general way. I meet them in the school, in the university, and in other place too, but most of the time I meet them in the academic context, in the way that for some reason the school or university was a connection.

I have a good time whit them, in the most part of the time, because sometimes I want to kill all of them. But that is occasionally.

I love my friends, they are very fun and exotic, in the best way.

We will go to a party today, and I hope have a nice time.

I like to be whit them, because they make me feel good.

I want to relate the little moments that make me happy. Sometime we go to the movies, or casa&ideas, or just talk in the grass. Those little things can change and turn a bad day in a good one.

When I was a child I wanted to be a writer, I had a croquera that my mom did to me in work, my first (and I think the only one) story was one called "El pino que daba pepinos", and I don't remember exactly the content, but in few words, it was about a diferent tree that was lonely and sad, but in the end he gives fruits, and all people end loving him. I think that the motive of the history have to do with the reason that my mom buy me for first time sweet cucumbers, and that sorprised me a lot, because I only know the otrers cucumbers, and I don't liked the last ones.

I was a law student for a year, in 2012. My first option was anthropology, but my family insists and in that time I wasn't sure either about my preferences. So I study law in Universidad de Chile. But finally I change my career, but after of many dramatic episodes with my mom. But she is happy now, and so am I (obviously haha).

My university experience has had a lot of everything. New friends and new ideas.

I don't know yet about my future job, but I working in that.

Me and my mom, that is her first time on a boat.

I was born in 1993 in Santiago, Chile. I am an antropology stundent.

My favorite activities are play with my beautiful dog, and look how she lose her time biting toys. She is very cute, her name is Alika. And I have a hedgehog ground, his name is Flojo. Sometimes Alika and Flojo play together, but Alika doesn’t understand yet how to approach in the best way to him. She is a little hard.

They are my favorite non human persons.

I like so many books and movies that I can’t write about that, because are an infinity topic.

Love and peace!

PD: The white one, is Flojo, the brown one, is Jimmy, his brother.
